Kristi graduated from Tallinn University in 2009 with a master’s degree in English language and literature and has been working as an Estonian and English language teacher since 2013 in various language schools, companies, and universities. Offering both individual and group lessons, she has experience teaching students with different goals, including successfully preparing learners for Estonian language exams.
Kristi believes that speaking practice is the most important part of language learning, and while she adapts to students’ needs and focuses on refining different language skills, she combines most activities, such as grammar or vocabulary introduction, with conversational practice. She also enriches her lessons with elements of Estonian culture through music and video materials. For Kristi, the most important goal is to keep students active and positive, supporting their motivation with engaging lessons and ensuring that studying is always fun.
